ARS ITW SPORT

Physical training designed around real goals

At ITW Sport, we approach physical preparation with a fully personalised focus. We don’t deal in generic routines or rigid methods. We build, from the ground up, a plan adapted to the athlete’s specific goals, current level, and the unique demands of their sport.

Each phase of the process is designed with a clear objective: to progress safely, consistently, and measurably. Technical training is combined with injury prevention strategies and physical performance enhancement.

«We work with athletes of different ages and competitive levels. Each programme is adjusted to:
what is needed, when and how it is needed.»

Physical training adapted to real evolution

Our individualised physical preparation does not follow generic routines. We apply a technical, comprehensive, and above all, athlete-centred approach. Each physical preparation programme is designed around three pillars: the starting point, the objectives of the physical preparation, and the sporting environment of each case.

Training loads are adjusted week by week based on the athlete’s physical response. This ensures that the applied effort leads to real, sustained improvements over time — without overtraining or stagnation.

Our Method

How do we approach physical preparation?

1. Personalised Initial Assessment

We begin with a complete evaluation of the athlete’s physical condition. We take into account sporting history, any previous injuries, body composition, and current capabilities. This information is key to establishing a reliable starting point and planning meaningfully.

2. Physical Training Planning

Each programme is unique. It is tailored to the sport practised, the goals set, and also to the athlete’s availability. Sessions combine strength work, mobility, endurance, coordination, and injury prevention — all with logical and controlled progression.

3. Monitoring, Load Control and Adjustment

Throughout the process, data is recorded and responses are analysed. This allows us to adjust loads, prevent overtraining, and keep the training stimulus within an optimal range. We don't force evolution — we guide it.

Technology Applied to Sports Performance

ITW Sport

At ITW Sport, we use technology to go beyond the obvious. Because what isn't measured, cannot be improved. That's why we integrate analytical tools that allow us to evaluate and adjust training with greater precision.

Technology does not replace experience, but it complements it. It helps us make informed decisions, further personalise processes, and detect opportunities for improvement that are not always visible to the naked eye.

Moreover, technology enables us to work collaboratively with other areas of performance and health, such as sports nutrition, the physiotherapy and osteopathy , and sports rehabilitation.

FAQs about
Individualised Physical Preparation

Physical preparation is a structured process aimed at improving an athlete’s physical capacities: strength, endurance, speed, coordination, and flexibility. It is about preparing the body to better respond to the demands of the sport.

There are training programmes focused on different capacities: maximal strength, explosive strength, aerobic endurance, anaerobic endurance, joint mobility, among others. The choice depends on the sport, the athlete’s level, and the stage of their process.

The main objectives of physical preparation are: to improve sports performance, prevent injuries, reduce recovery times, and increase the body's response capacity to exertion.

It is distinguished between general physical preparation (broader, focused on the foundations) and specific preparation (directly linked to the sport practised). At ITW Sport, we work on both according to the stage the athlete is at.
