At ITW Sport, we recognize football as the leading global sport, capable of uniting people and transcending borders. Our passion for the sport drives us to share our knowledge with players, coaches, and professionals, focusing on comprehensive training that encompasses sports, academic, and values aspects. We prioritize training over results and promote a mindset based on hard work and effort, understanding that success is a consequence of consistency, effort, and work (CET).
"Fall as many times as you need,
but never stop getting up."
Knowing the player's physical condition at the start will allow us to define the work plan during the program and set goals that help improve their abilities and performance.
It is crucial to understand the player's current state to identify potential pathologies or injuries.
We care about the well-being of the football players, and in the case of discomfort or injuries, we will conduct a thorough assessment of their condition and apply the necessary protocols to ensure they recover in the best possible conditions.
To achieve optimal performance, it is essential to address aspects that influence the player's development. The "invisible training," which includes a balanced diet (the Mediterranean diet is ideal for a footballer's growth) and proper hydration, will complement the on-field work.
We might have excellent individual technique but lack effectiveness, or be effective but lacking in technique. It is crucial to achieve a balance between technique and effectiveness if we want to stand out as footballers.
How do we work on effectiveness? We analyze the technical gesture and focus on how the player can improve their effectiveness. To achieve this, we assign individualized routines.
Although the concept is generally addressed, often time is dedicated during training sessions to individualize and focus on specific aspects.
Creativity is the essence of a footballer, where they showcase their skill on the field and demonstrate their potential.
At ITW Sport, we want footballers to grow and enjoy themselves while playing, as challenges are essential for personal development.
New technologies help footballers improve their attention to detail, which is crucial for better execution of fundamentals on the field.
The ITW Sport Training Program works on concepts and aspects that contribute to the development of the game.
It focuses on improving the player's individual decision-making and its application. While repeating fundamentals is crucial for mastering technical gestures, it is equally important for the player to understand what happens on the field and make the best possible decisions.
In professional sports, scouting plays a crucial role in understanding opponents, but it is also applicable to amateur teams in their daily activities. It is used to study the opposing team and also as a tool to analyze and improve our own team. During the ITW Sport program, we work with players to help them learn how to analyze matches and players, allowing them to better understand what is happening on the field.
Our goal is for footballers to improve their quality of work during training sessions and for this to be reflected in competition (you compete as you train).
We record training sessions, and coaches use these recordings to show players the work done and areas for improvement.
At the start of each session, a document with items is provided for players to conduct a personal evaluation.
At the end of the program, a document is given for players to perform a self-assessment and become aware of their improvements and areas for development. These evaluation guidelines help players conduct a personal SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats).
Competitions are essential to complement a player's growth, as they allow us to observe how they apply the skills learned in the ITW Sport program and how they improve in tactical aspects, game understanding, and competitive ability.
This area is designed for players to showcase their game and talent, enjoying competition with other players from the program.
A footballer's potential is not only assessed by their talent or abilities but also by how they manage different situations.
At ITW Sport, we work to help players learn how to handle situations that might divert them from their main objective, such as frustration after making a mistake, referee decisions, or pressure from opponents. We aim to improve their performance in these situations that could limit their game.
We want players to enjoy their passion and share special moments with their teammates. Group dynamics, challenges, and games help create a positive and camaraderie-filled environment throughout the program.
To train and compete under the best conditions, it is important to maintain a positive attitude and have moments of relaxation that help players stay motivated and prepared to face new challenges.
