WHAT IS THE SUMMER IN AMERICAN FAMILIES USA PROGRAM?

The Summer in American Families USA Program offers you the chance to live with an American family during June and July. During your stay, you'll experience complete immersion in English, as well as American culture and lifestyle. This unique experience combines basketball and English learning to offer you an unforgettable experience.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE SUMMER IN AMERICAN FAMILIES USA PROGRAM?

If you are between 13 and 17 years and passionate about basketball, this program is for you. For 2 or 3 weeks in June or July, you’ll have the opportunity to live with an American family. The program is conducted entirely in English, so a basic level of English is required for interaction.

COMPLETE EXPERIENCE IN THE USA

HOW IS THE SUMMER IN AMERICAN FAMILIES USA PROGRAM?

  • Duration of 2 or 3 weeks for ages 13 to 17 years in June and July
  • Cities such as New York, Miami, Dallas, Minneapolis, Boston, etc.
  • Program to Improve English while staying with an American family
  • You will be part of the family during your stay, with full board. Rigorous selection process for families.
  • Participate in training sessions and matches with local American teams.
  • Explore attractions and enjoy local activities.

  • Team selection based on skill level
  • Participation in AAU, Nationals, Local Tournaments, friendly matches, or internal leagues of clubs, depending on
    the destination club
  • Game rules according to NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations)
  • Includes transportation, tickets, and accompanying monitor
  • Full-day and half-day excursions

We provide constant evaluations and follow-ups, with contact people available 24/7 for the American family, the Spanish family, and the participant, both in the USA and Spain.
