An event to start 2026 with a focus on inclusion
The year started in the best possible way: sharing sport, learning and smiles.
The past 3 January 2026, the CEM Mundet of Barcelona was the scene of a Inclusive Technification Day which brought together athletes, coaches and families around the same idea: that sport is for everyone.
The activity, organised together with the ACELL Federation and ITW Sport, combined basketball, swimming and athletics and is part of the policy of Corporate Social Responsibility of ITW Sport, which understands sport as a real tool for social transformation.
Because for ITW Sport, training is not just about improving a technique: it is about creating safe, accessible spaces full of opportunities to grow.
Programming and development of the day
The call, published by ACELL in October 2025, envisaged a meeting of three hours (from 17:00 to 20:00) with two registration modalities:
- Basket
- Swimming + Athletics
The sessions were led by ITW Sport professional trainers, specialising in training and adaptation, with the aim of enhancing the skills of each athlete through respect, closeness and motivation.
During the day:
- Train at basketball court, In addition, fundamentals such as bouncing, passing and shooting were worked on.
- Train at swimming pool and athletics track, The groups practised swimming strokes, relays and sprint events.
Beyond the technical work, the coaches focused on core values:
companionship, self-esteem, effort and discipline.
In closing, each participant received his or her official t-shirt, a small souvenir of a great experience.
ITW Sport's social commitment
This day is part of ITW Sport's commitment to a sport which educates, accompanies and cares. Through its Corporate Social Responsibility programme, the entity promotes projects that:

The agreement between ITW Sport and Federació ACELL is born with a clear objective: continue to organise inclusive technification days to bring training sport closer to more people.
Looking to the future

Throughout the year, new days will continue to be promoted, giving continuity to previous experiences such as the basketball technification day held in Lleida in March 2025. Actions that show that when sport is done well, it leaves its mark.
