The past 27 December 2025, ITW Sport organised a very special Christmas day for families and athletes at CEM Mundet in Barcelona. During an afternoon full of activities, mothers, fathers and players shared the court, baskets and laughter to reinforce the concept of “family” and celebrate Christmas together.
The initiative is part of ITW Sport's social commitment to sport as a tool for transformation. Its corporate social responsibility programme understands sport as a real agent of social change and places people at the centre: not only do they train athletes, but they also people with values, purpose and a winning mentality on and off the court. That is why its comprehensive programmes address such important aspects as health, fitness and, above all, values.
On Christmas Day, the families experienced first-hand this human approach to sports training. Under the supervision of the technical team, cooperative activities were designed in which adults and children had to collaborate, encourage each other and enjoy themselves together. There were hugs between parents and children and an atmosphere of companionship and respect. This type of coexistence reinforces the idea that the preparation of an athlete is not limited to technical or physical preparation, It also involves working on ethics, discipline, healthy lifestyle, companionship and respect.
In addition, the ITW Sport programme encourages each participant to grow as an individual within a team, community and family environment. The Christmas day was a clear example: those who usually sit in the stands were able to take to the court to share experiences with their daughters and sons, to better understand the school's philosophy and, above all, to enjoy sport as a family. Memories were created that go beyond the sporting result, reinforcing the confidence and motivation of each player.
ITW Sport is grateful for the participation of all the families and recognises the commitment of its technical team to make sport accessible, inclusive and full of values. “These days remind us that sport is lived with meaning, with passion and with social impact,” the organisers emphasised. The academy will continue to work to ensure that each training session and each event continues to build community and consolidate the values upheld by the organisation's CSR.
